Fit, carry & sizing
Your child: 4–36 months, up to 20 kg, able to sit unassisted and hold their head up. All requirements apply. Not suitable for newborns.
You: The waistband adjusts to fit most wearers, roughly 64–120 cm (25–47 in).
Sharing it: Adjust the waistband and, when used, the shoulder straps for each wearer.
Getting started:
- Position the waistband as instructed. Fasten the hook-and-loop closure, then the buckle. Both, every time.
- Place your child facing you with their legs either side of the seat. Keep one hand supporting them in seat-only mode.
- Fit and adjust the complete carrier as instructed before using hands-free mode.
Care & cleaning
Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry away from direct heat. Check the sewn-in label before any machine wash.
Safety information
Keep one hand supporting your child when using the seat alone. Hands-free use requires the complete carrier to be correctly fitted and adjusted. Keep monitoring your child.
Check the waistband fastenings, straps, buckles and seams before every use. Stop using it if anything is worn, loose or damaged.
Never use it in a vehicle, on a bike or while running. Follow the supplied instructions throughout.
Hitchkin is designed to support the carrying load. It is not a treatment for back pain. If you have an existing back condition, check suitability with your clinician or physiotherapist.
